When you, as a parent, have a concern...
At Sunnyside, we like to model good processes for healthy conflict. If you have an issue, please think about the best method for reaching a positive resolution. SES is committed to honoring the input and idea of parents and good communication is essential for every respectful school model.
- First, have a respectful conversation, at a mutually convenient time, with the most direct person involved.
- For general concerns about the school climate, use Site Council, PTSA meetings, and Principal Teas for venues of conversation.
- If you have sent an email to the principal or assistant principal and you believe it needs to be read immediately, please call the secretary at 503.916.6226 to discuss timing and/or arrange a meeting.
